Centre for Security Studies, in cooperation with the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida), organises a two day-long international conference on Anti-Organised Crime Policy.
The general aim of the conference is to provide the forum for discussion on the basis of the draft Platform for National Anti-Organised Crime Strategy, composed by the CSS Expert Board. The debate is to be led between international police and criminal justice professionals, the relevant ministries, judicial, prosecutorial agencies and the attorneys' associations. Apart from serving the inherent research interests, it will focus on a verification process for the Platform. The participants will present their views on the drafted document and expand on their experiences in the design and functioning of the relevant institutional mechanisms in their respective countries.
