Centre for Security Studies (CSS) in Belgrade, in collaboration with the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) is organising the second round of anti-organised crime methodology course as part of a Consolidated Anti-Organised Crime Initiative Project (Project Sava). Starting from 5 February 2008 the course will last for 3 months, and will include lectures, workshops and consultations with mentors.
The lectures will be held by experts from research institutes, university professors and foreign colleagues within a 27 session-curriculum. Target groups for the course include the police profession, magistrates, judges and prosecutors, defence attorneys, as well as the military profession, but a number of places is reserved for independent candidates.
The course will focus on a comparative criminological grasp of the newest methodologies to fight organised crime. All successful participants will be awarded Diplomas and a detailed transcript.
