Jelena Tošić, Ph.D.
Jelena Tošić (Belgrade, 1973) holds a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology from the University of Vienna. She is currently working on human rights education and globalisation in the Balkans, at the Wittgenstein Research Fund, the Austrian Academy of Sciences. She also lectures at the Institute for Social and Cultural Anthropology and the Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies, University of Vienna. Her professional interests lie broadly in the fields of ethnicity, nationalism, refugee studies, and human rights. She has recently published the book "Global Rights and Local Contexts: An Anthropological Inquiry into the Human Rights Teaching Programmes". Jelena is an expert in quantitative research methods.
